Election Date: Saturday 7 September 2013 for Australia’s 14 million registered voters

On Saturday the 10 August the Australian Guardian reported that: “The Coalition is reported to be ahead of Labour after the first week of the election campaign, according to a new poll.
And the Fairfax/Nielsen poll released on Saturday also shows Coalition leader Tony Abbott overtaking Labour’s Kevin Rudd on trustworthiness – although Rudd remained ahead on the separate question of who voters saw as their preferred Prime Minister.”

Does this mean that those who were part of the poll are not so concerned with trustworthiness in terms of their preferred Prime Minister, but see it as simply another democratic imperfection of which all politicians are guilty of at some time or another?
