Leon The Professional - to be featured in the next issue of Cafe Philosophy

In the next issue of Café Philosophy, Mike Parker philosophically analyses the fictional character of Leon, through the moral philosophy of Arthur Schopenhauer. The aim of the review is to look at one aspect of Schopenhauer’s work: his understanding of a good moral character, and to use this as a practical tool for analysing the fictional character of ‘Leon’, from Luc Besson’s popular movie; “Leon the Professional.” However as a prelude to this review we recommend that you read Patrick Meaney’s review first, as a means of understanding Leon’s wider circumstances.
